As we age our skin quality is affected and we start to notice fine lines and wrinkles.
At The Louve we are able to provide consultation on treatment options to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Static Vs Dynamic Wrinkles?
There are two types of lines that occur as we age, the first is a static line, this is a wrinkle or line that is visible when your face is neutral. The second is a dynamic line, these are wrinkles that appear with certain muscle movement or facial expression. Dynamic lines will disappear when muscles are at rest, unlike static lines. Over time, with repetitive movement and other ageing factors, dynamic lines can become static lines.
How we treat:
Our goal is to target dynamic lines by reducing facial expressions such as frowning or raising the eyebrows. We can also soften static wrinkles by limiting repetitive movement allowing the depth and appearance to improve over time.
