About REJURAN-SCAR

This newest treatment to arrive at The Louve is a polynucleotide injectables. These polynucleotides are derived from the DNA of wild salmon. It is a form of bio-remodeling injectable which means it stimulates our own body to produce collagen. Polynucleotides are long chains of amino acids which are found naturally in our body making the treatment extremely biocompatible. 

Rejuran-scar is injected into the deep dermis where it stimulates fibroblasts which are responsible for building collagen to provide structure to the skin as well as skin healing.

Like the name suggest, Rejuran Scar is injected directly under the targeted scar or scars 

Rejuran is indicated for superficial low volume atrophic scar types such as “box car scars” or shallow rolling acne scars. 

Following an in-depth consultation and consent we will apply numbing cream to the treatment area. After 10 minutes your skilled nurse will inject small blebs of Rejuran into the dermis of the skin. Following the treatment you may experience:

· Redness

· Small bumps that will settle within 36 hours

· Itchiness

· Bruising

Results are seen from 2 weeks, however as changes are happening at a cellular level it can take 3-6 months to see maximum results.
